CAD Modelling Workshop

This workshop will cover the basics of CAD modelling. The idea is to brainstorm with diverse minds coming up with unique 3D modelling ideas and bringing them to life!

Attendees can download Autodesk Fusion 360, which is a free modelling software for students, start-ups and makers. Since the focus is on the thought process behind modelling, participants will be able to pickup other 3D software skills relatively easily.

The skills gained will enable you to create 3D models of parts that can then be virtually rendered into images or be 3D printed into physical prototypes. You can model anything from a new toy, to a replacement part to fix that broken thing or device lying at the back of your cupboard, or you could even create a 3D sculpture.

Prerequisites: No engineering background required. This is for everybody.

What to Bring: We'll be learning by doing, so laptops with Autodesk Fusion 360 installed. Please make sure to get a mouse too.
